An NG tube runs down Romy’s nose into her stomach, this is how medicine and some nutrition is administered. It can only remain in place for 90 days and then needs replacing for a brand new tube. However, Romy’s tube didn’t even last that long, unfortunately it became clogged up with medicine so had to be changed.
