On day 30 Romy was discharged following high dose chemo. Romy was discharged on a different anti sickness medication and it very quickly became apparent just how much her old anti sickness medication was doing as she went from vomiting about once a day to vomiting multiple times per day, everything that went in seemed to come up, plus some. Over the following days, once her anti sickness medication was reinstated and things settled more, Romy started to have little outings of 10 minutes or so. However the heatwave didn’t help with how she was generally feeling and we often found just a short spell out was too much in the heat. Despite spending much of her time feeling rubbish, one thing was very clear- and that was how much Romy and Zephyr enjoyed being back in each others company.
