For Christmas Auntie Katie and Uncle James bought tickets for us all to attend this show which visited Southampton for one day only. It was the day before Romy started her next cycle of treatment so it was perfect timing, although we didn’t tell her about it until the day itself when we knew she was well enough to attend (we have learnt it is better to avoid the disappointment of big event cancellations, although the downside is she then loses out on the anticipation and build up of the event). Zephyr exclaimed quite loudly ‘this is taking ages’ a couple of times during the show, but sat enthralled throughout, and Romy also enjoyed the theatrical circus acts, sparkly costumes and show tunes.
