With perfect timing, just before the next ten day infusion of Anti-GD2 was due to commence, Romy and Zephyr’s Granny, Papa and Auntie Edna visited.  We visited the Weald and Downland Museum, a 40 acre open air museum where we found a great barn with a gypsy caravan to explore and historical children’s games to play.  Romy also got to try milling with a hand turned quern, and saw traditional breed farm animals.  Unfortunately the weather was not kind and it rained most of the day, but being an open air museum it was the perfect place to spend a day with an immunocompromised child.  The weather and the fact it was a week day also meant that there were so few visitors that we could safely visit the empty but expansive café to dry out and warm up, much to Romy and Zephyr’s delight.  This was a real novelty as this was the first time we visited an indoor café since we came to Southampton.
